The Oerol festival has started again! Friday 15 June the festival was opened at the Westerkeyn.

JAPAN DAY Leiden 2018
On Saturday 3 March the JAPAN DAY was held for the first time in the Netherlands at the Stadsgehoorzaal in Leiden. About 110 Japanese drummers, dancers, actors, musicians and storytellers, amateurs and semi-professionals, flew especially to the Netherlands to show their arts.

MONO JAPAN Amsterdam 2018
After only documenting a few festivals and events on Terschelling last year, this year I’ll also document several events in the rest of The Netherlands. The first cultural event I’ve visited this year was MONO JAPAN Amsterdam which took place in the Lloyd Hotel from 15 t/m 18 February.
